Mark Brunetz from Clean House, the number one show on The Style Network (TSN) in the US, is coming to SA in September 2009 to conduct a good will makeover on behalf of his non-profit organisation Design Without Borders.

The local recipient, The Big Issue, will have their reception room transformed to a welcoming, empowering space for the hard-working vendors who sell magazines daily at most intersections in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Design Without Borders is committed to empowering people in developing areas of the world by transforming the spaces in which they work and live. This charitable organization relies on the generous partnership of individuals and businesses to supply financial support, goods and services vital to the makeovers that take place throughout the world. Builders’ Warehouse has very generously agreed to be our partner during these makeovers.

Mark is definitely not new to the world of Hollywood celebrities! He started his career working on Jane Fonda exercise videos. In addition, he started Fortis Films with close friend, Sandra Bullock. Their first film was 'While You Were Sleeping' in 1990.

Mark has recently completed his 100th episode of Clean House and is looking forward to coming to South Africa. "People ask me 'Why South Africa?' and I tell them I get to help millions of people here in the US everyday through Clean House and it's an opportunity to reach out beyond our borders," says Brunetz.
