On Saturday 13 December 2008 Kloovenburg Wine & Olive Estate will be hosting their first quarterly seasonal fresh produce market.
The Kloovenburg Market Day will be a showcase of the finest fresh produce from the Valley and surrounds and will allow locals and visitors to the Riebeek Valley the rare opportunity to taste, sample and buy wonderful products created and produced locally — in one convenient location.
The Kloovenburg Market Day will be quarterly market focusing on the best seasonal produce available in the Riebeek Valley, which means that we can expect an autumn, winter, spring and summer market in 2009.
Along with the fabulous Kloovenburg range of wine and olive products there will also be several other exhibitors offering: Local cheeses, fresh free range eggs and poultry, meats, breads, Christmas cakes, fruits and vegetables, cured meats, jams and preserves.
To add to your summer/festive season shopping list is the Kloovenburg 2008 Festive Season Hamper containing several delicious olive products as well as their first sparkling wine — The Kloovenburg 'White from Red' Brut.
For the gastronauts Kloovenburg has their new Shiraz salt as well as a host of firm favourite treats such as the bottled olives, olive oils, dipping oils, jams, chutneys, pestos, tapenades, raisins, figs and even Kloovenburg balsamic vinegar.
