There's a sexy new wedding trend on the rise that enables couples to extend that blissful newly-married feeling by doing a morning after shoot.
A couple's first morning together as husband and wife, posed together in provocatively is intimately captured and is apparently gaining popularity, according to an article on the New York Daily News.
Unmade rumpled beds and sharing a steamy shower are just some of the intimate moments that are captured, putting a racy spin on the conventional wedding album.
Melissa Squires, who is the owner of A Girl in Love Photography in Detroit, USA, said she is trying to capture a feeling of closeness.
"That lovely calm and happiness one feels when they realize it's for real, now they are really husband and wife," she told the New York Daily News.
While Squires aims to capture intimacy and love, New Jersey-based photographer Michelle Jonné says, "We do it very sexy and implied."
Jonné was quoted as saying to the New York Daily news: "I wanted to do the shoots to show that [marriage] is happy ... it's sexy and it's not over."
Inna Shamis and her husband, who were one of the first couples to pose for Jonné, says she thinks it's a brilliant idea and even shared the results of the photoshoot on Facebook.
"When you get married, you're in the best shape of your life and why not have these memories?" she asked.
Shamis and her hubby even recreated that famous steamy glass scene in Titanic and say they intend to show the photos to their future children.
"I wouldn’t show this to them at the age of 10, but when they're older and can understand it. It's their parents looking artistic… not at all pornography," Mrs Shamis said.
