Hi there, my wedding is in December and I am currently looking at gifts for my retinue. I have no idea what to get my two bridesmaids and the best men, and the wedding is a month and a half away. Do you have any suggestions please?

Gifts for members of the wedding retinue have traditionally been something they can keep as a memento of the day. Obviously it will depend on what is within your budget, but here are some ideas to choose from:

• Jewellery for the bridesmaids (a popular choice is a either a bracelet or necklace to wear on your wedding day).
• Cufflinks for the groomsmen
• Silver photo frames, with the promise of a photo taken on the day
• A stylish pen engraved with his or her name
• A hip flask
• A business card holder
• Silver or crystal candle holders
• A book on a specific hobby or interest they might have
• A cutglass vase.
