The winner of Idols 2009 Jason Hartman has been invited to perform at the royal wedding of Prince Albert of Monaco and the South African swimmer Charlene Wittstock.
Hartman, who apparently received an invitation to the wedding, is "jumping for joy" at the prospect of performing at the wedding, Channel24 reported on Monday.
"It is a very big honour ... We are flying this week and will stay in Monaco for the next seven weeks," Hartman reportedly told Beeld newspaper.
Together with his brother on drums and his father on guitar, Hartman will also open a gala event on 27 May at the Monaco Grand Prix ahead of famous acoustic rock group The Eagles.
The bride and groom will get married during a two day ceremony in Monaco on July 1 and 2 this year.
