Carbon Offsets
");
document.write("I must disagree with your comments about carbon offsetting. High quality carbon offsets (e.g. Gold Standard CERs or VERs) do make a difference as a part of a person or company's stratergy to reduce their carbon footprint. Always reduce what you can and offset the rest. A good carbon offset project will, in addition to saving carbon emissions, have significant social and economic benefits for vulnerable communities that could not otherwise afford to adopt greener technologies like CFLs, Solar water heaters, efficient cooking stoves, etc. It also educates them to get on the path to sustainable development. The vast majority of people who take the trouble to offset also undertake other lifestyle changes like you suggest in your article. But after you have done as much as you are able you are left with the problem of what to do with your reduced carbon footprint. High quality offsets is the way to clean up this smaller but unavoidable mess. Brian. ");

100% correct on carbon offsets, I call it the environmental \"catholic confession box\". It doesn't make any difference it only makes you feel better about yourself.
VOC yes but what about the organophosphates in products such as Doom, or Baygon. They are even more deadly and I have seen people use this stuff by the can loads. Finally organic food is not so much about the \"green\" aspect of it but rather the healthy aspect of being additive free. Also the basic requirements to be certified as an organic farmer is very high you make it sound as if it is very attainable by using the term \"bare minimum.
Sorry but this is a badly written and badly researched article. . Logo");

dual flush toilet is to convert your old toilet with a dual flush conversion kit. The conversion will save the same water but it costs less money and the landfill. This is a very green solution.. David");
