Busy moms in Sweden are making sure they get their quota of sex in the bag by taking advantage of bedtime for a bit of hanky panky... with 30 percent admitting to having sex while their infant slept in the same bed.
Swedish magazine mama conducted the survey of 663 mothers 48 percent who revealed they got it on at least once or twice a week. An energetic four percent said they managed to have sex every day.
The other 51 percent of moms said that they had sex only once or twice a month, while seven percent admitted having sex only once or twice a year.
But whether moms had sex frequently or not, 92 percent admitted they engaged in the hanky-panky at night, in their bedroom and it wasn't long, lingering lovemaking sessions they had, but rather, a quickie lasting 15 to 30 minutes.
Most of the mothers reported a struggle to balance a demanding lifestyle between work and home, saying that this is partly to blame for their reduced sex lives.
"I would like to take the initiative more often, but I'm often too tired and I don't have the energy to start anything. The sex drive is there, so if my partner initiates sex, I'm game," said a mother of three children.
