It's nice to see a relatively fresh face being voted FHM's Sexiest Woman this time round. We spoke to the vivacious 25-year-old Lyndall Jarvis to find out more...

Tell us a little about yourself, your hobbies and so on...

I am a born and bred Capetonion who's been modelling for 10 years already. I have just relocated back to the Mother City after spending two and a half years in Los Angeles.

Hobbies? Well, often go horse riding and I love reading (she's reading 'The Fountain Head' by Ayn Rand). But I would say my newfound favourite hobbie is cooking.

You say you lived in LA? Did you enjoy it? Plans to go back?

No, not really, everyone there is very superficial. It's all about who you know. People also aren't very friendly. I did get to model for Chanel, Calvin Klein and so on which was great, but no, I won't be going back.

How do you feel about winning the title 'SA's Sexiest'?

What was absolutely great for me was that so many people actually voted for me, it wasn't like FHM randomly chose me, which makes it special for me.

You have a video game character modelled after you. Can you describe the character? Are you a gamer?

Her name is Laughing Octopus; she's evil and pretty creepy... I used to game a bit but I just don't have time anymore.

What are your future aspirations in terms of work?

I've been travelling and modelling for quite some time now. I would like to study beauty therapy actually... I'm really interested in skincare in particular.

So you love to cook... what's your favourite dish?

Yes, I find cooking very therapeutic and it's great to cook for my boyfriend. At the moment I am into trying different Thai curries.

Who's your favourite designer?

Marc Jacobs, definitely...

Finally, what's your favourite place to just hangout, say on a Friday afternoon?

I would say either Caprice in Camps Bay or Bravo in Moullie Point.
