The Keg rates as the number one choice for Gauteng cheaters when considering where to meet up for an extra-marital affair, according to statistics released by adultery website AshleyMadison.com.
The intimate and often dimly lit surroundings make for a perfect ambience for people with an affair in mind.
The website, which has 175 000 members in South Africa, polled more than 1215 respondents in Gauteng to determine where two-timers prefer to meet up for trysts.
Unsurprisingly, food is not the top factor when deciding where to go for a romantic rendezvous you're trying to keep under wraps. Restaurants need to be more than 15 kilometres from home and are more likely to be franchise chain restaurants than unique little spots, perhaps to ensure more anonymity. Most respondents picked Wednesdays as their date night of choice, with many making reservations for before 6:30pm.
