Oral sex isn't as simple as it seems. There's no way you're going to please your partner for long by just banging away with your tongue. Good oral sex comes with knowing your way around your partner's nether regions, so here are a few ways you can familiarise yourself with the landscape and have your partner begging for more.

Start off with the right attitude

Remember, it's not a button that if pressed, automatically sends your partner to orgasm. For best results, keep your tongue movements light and varied. In terms of penetrative sex versus oral, it's almost a guarantee that she'll choose your tongue over your penis any day, so best you master the art of cunnilingus if you want to satisfy your missus!  

When it comes to oral sex for men, focus on the glans or head of the penis, using both your hand and mouth simultaneously. Once again, it's no good beating away at his penis. Rather offer varied pressure and rhythm.

Keep things clean

It's fine to get down and dirty when you're making love, but when it comes to hygiene it's hugely important that you keep yourself in pristine condition.

It's not always necessary to rush to the bathroom to clean your teeth before every love-making session, but at least make sure that your mouth is free of leftover food and that you've recently had a shower. After all, your partner is putting their trust in you by placing their nose right near your fiddly bits. If you'd like them to go back there, best you keep things in order.
