The legendary shoe designer, Manolo Blahnik, often makes footwear with the 'Sex and the City' actress in mind, adding he is also inspired by Carrie Bradshaw, the character she plays on the US TV show.
He said: "I adore Ms. Parker. The character she played has had such a role in my career — I cannot help but regard both of them as muses! I adore cinema generally and a large chunk of my collections is inspired by it. It could be a character, a scene, or just the spirit of a movie. I watch them all night long."
The 66-year-old designer has also spoken about his infamous Campari shoes, which are a high-heeled black patent Mary Jane.
In 'Sex and the City', Carrie famously squeals when she finds a pair of the shoes in the Vogue closet, declaring she always thought they were an "urban shoe myth".
Kate Moss is also a fan of the heels, which were first made in 1994.
Blahnik told Vogue.com: "I had gone through a bit of a baroque period in the early '90s and wanted something to counter that, so I went minimalist. It started off with the idea of a children's Mary Jane, but then I made it sexy, pointed toe, high heel — and in black patent with grosgrain trim!"
