New beauty brands coming to SA

Some of the world’s most loved beauty and hair care brands, are coming to South Africa, thanks to Woolworths...

These include REN; black | Up; Elemis’ aromatherapy-based skin and body products; the young, vibrant Bloom Cosmetics; the Korres range of natural body, skin and hair care products from Greece; the ‘cosmeceutical’ range Freeze 24/7.

“One of the most exciting new products we’re introducing is Freeze 24/7,” says Amanda Graham, Woolworths' Beauty Group Head. “It’s one of the most advanced technologies in the skincare market today — a ‘cosmeceutical’ that, like botox, relaxes the muscles underlying the skin to visibly reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles — nature not needles!”

What’s more, Woolies will be stocking other beauty bankers such as Lancome, Clarins, Gatineau as well as Toni & Guy. Another name that South Africans may recognise is Dr Hauschka, a range of skin care products from Germany which were previously only available through beauty salons and health stores. As well as international luxury fragrances, including Yves St Laurent, Lacoste, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Mont Blanc, DKNY, Aramis and Tommy Hilfiger.

He attended the prestigious Christian Chauveau Artistic make–up school in France and realised that even though France was the leading country in the world when it comes to beauty, there was a need for a make–up and skin care range dedicated to woman of color and mixed races. black I Up is an esthetic and trendy brand.

Also look out for the new ‘mini spa’ inside selected Woolworths stores, as well as their own new range of gentle bath products, an innovative skin care range as well as a whole new trendy make-up spread. These new ranges replace their well-known Classics products. Trained consultants will be on hand at 70 stores nationwide to assist customers.
