Popular burger chain Wimpy have come up with a novel way to announce its Braille menus: using sesame seeds atop their burger buns to create Braille messages for the visually impaired.
Together with its advertising team, MetropolitanRepublic, the brand got to work making the buns, painstakingly adding one sesame seed after another with tweezers to the tops of the buns before baking them.
Each message described the meal they were about to eat, "100 percent beef burger made for you."
Once out of the oven, the famous Wimpy burger with its piquant relish, were assembled and the tasty packages sent off to three key institutions including, Blind South Africa.
The brand filmed the process and judging from the reactions in the advert (below), it was very well received.
Wimpy's heartwarming message reads: "Sure this was a small gesture, but for people who use their hands as eyes this was the first time they could do more than just taste their food. They could see it."
