There's no denying it, Cape Town is a stylish place filled with passionate fashionistas eager to showcase their styles via the most recent avenue: the blessed blog.

While you might think that so many stylistas taking up this pastime might water down the genre, the opposite is true. We went sifting through the many urls and found 11 blogs that offer their own take on the style scene. From personal style diaries and celebration of local talent to odes to vintage fashion, these blogs each have a unique angle and attitude towards fashion.

Superficial Girls

Carlinn blogs every day and posts crystal-clear snaps of her outfit of the day. Her style is simple while adding pops of bright colour in her outfits.

Baked: The blog

Aisha Baker’s blog is sassy and she has a few things to say about her world. She blogs mostly about fashion but also includes posts about whatever is inspiring her and picturesque images of her travelling around the peninsula.

Fashion Breed

Fashion Breed is the black and white sister blog of Baked. Aqeelah Harron is best friends with Aisha. She takes a particular interest in photography and offers up some really lovely original style shoots.

Cinder and Skylark

This blog is a quirky collection of casual Cape Town street style and graffitti by Michelle Obelholzer.  Some images are accompanied with a credit to the model’s favourite place in CT and music love.

Style Guide Cape Town

Robyn Cooke sets out to bring the local fashion industry or at least local models and designers that have made waves internationally into the spotlight. The blog is news-based, with a little opinion thrown in here and there.

The Visual Journal

Aspirant fashion designer and stylist Raya Rossi shares her love of fashion and textiles and clothes she has made.

Cape Town Girl

Cape Town Girl blogs about things she likes, including cats. Her slogan says it all: "I live under a rock, its called Table Mountain."

Fashion and decor fanatic, Kim Gray has turned her blog into a burgeoning business. In 2011, she won best fashion blog in the SA blog awards. Enough said.

The Boguslavsky Sisters

Alla and Marianna are sisters who run one fashion blog together from two different cities - PE and Cape Town. Their main aim is to showcase “fabulous finds".

Nicole Danielle Warr is obsessed with vintage fashion. So much so that she's started an online magazine called Vintage Lifestyle. Through her magazine and her blog, she tells a story about the local creative talent in the fashion and design industry as well as a bit of focus on what's happening internationally.
