She's dressed the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Beckinsale and even Kate Winslet, but UK designer Jenny Packham says she dreams of the day she'll be able to dress Cate Blanchett.

Packham says that her recently launched summer collection would be perfect for the Oscar-winning actress who has starred in many strong heroine roles in blockbuster films.

"The new collection is inspired by Film Noir - by the heroines in particular; the femme fatale - and she'd look perfect in it," Packham told British Vogue.

The designer says that while it's a privilege to have top celebrities don her creations, she'd love to make her designs more accessible to the public.

So, she's teaming up with the Debenhams - a British high street clothes chain.

"We often get brides asking about dresses for younger bridesmaids as well - although the collection has pieces for all ages. To be honest, I'm really excited to see how it sells when the launch comes.

"I'm working on my third collection for Debenhams now - for next summer - but nothing has gone on sale yet, so it will be great to see what's popular; what people really like."
