50 Cent is releasing a fragrance. The 'Candy Shop' singer is teaming up with Lighthouse Beauty — which is made up of celebrity managers at Brand Asset Management, the stars they represent and developers of perfumes — to release the men's cologne, which will be called Power by 50 Cent.

Chief executive officer of Brand Asset Group Chris Lighty confirmed: "The typical musician or actor might not know much about developing a fragrance or a skin care line, but he definitely wants to capitalise on his brand potential."

The fragrance will launch in US department store Macy's later this year.

Zoe Kravitz is the new face of Vera Wang's Princess perfume. The actress-and-musician — who is the daughter of rocker Lenny Kravitz — will begin fronting the campaign this autumn, taking over from its current star Camile Belle.

Further details of the partnership, including when the campaign will be shot and who by, are yet to be released.

Zoe (20) fronts Philadelphia band Elevator Flight, and has appeared in a number of films including 2007's 'No Reservations', alongside Catherine Zeta Jones and Aaron Eckhart, and 'The Brave One', featuring Jodie Foster, which was released the same year.

Liam Gallagher "took the p**s" at a Versace show by jumping on the catwalk.

The Oasis frontman - who recently launched his own clothing label, called Pretty Green — is not a natural designer and finds some aspects of the fashion industry ridiculous.

Referring to his ex-wife Patsy Kensit and label designer Donatella Versace, Liam explained: "It's all a bit silly. They take themselves f***ing seriously, don't they? "I've been to one show — a Versace one. Got really p***ed. Got really high. Jumped on the catwalk, took the p**s out of them. Nearly got shot. I was with the missus, Patsy. And her, what's she called? Donatella. She was cool. But I'd been drinking... And I just got a bit carried away over the whole occasion."

Liam decided to produce his line — which includes well-tailored parka coats, polo shirts, scarves, hats and knitwear — after becoming incensed by the amount of retailers who were profiting from copying his look.

He revealed: "On one of our websites there is an advert, 'Buy Oasis-style clothes.' I clicked on it and there's all these idiots ripping off the clothes I've been buying. So I just thought, 'Right, we've got to nail this and do it proper.' "

Apparently, Kristin Davis suffered an allergic reaction to hairspray on the 'Sex and the City' movie set.

The 44-year-old actress broke out in a nasty rash after a stylist sprayed the holding product on the bottom of her dress to keep it in place during one scene.

She said: "We often stand in a line, and their hair people would come over.

"The other hair people don't tell you when they're about to spray. Every exposed part of my skin to the end of my dress had a rash! So I had to say, 'Please warn me so that I can step out of the cloud, because I can't get a hold of it!' "

Kristin, who is a spokesperson for skin care brand AHAVA, was filming Carrie Bradshaw's wedding scenes when she suffered the itchy reaction.

However, cosmetic artists managed to cover up her red blotchy skin with make-up before cameras began rolling.

Claudia Schiffer is to front a campaign for Alberta Ferretti's first perfume. The 38-year-old German supermodel has already posed for adverts for the as yet unnamed scent, which will be launched this autumn.

Claudia confirmed: "It's an honour to be chosen as the face of the Alberta Ferretti fragrance. Alberta and I have worked together for many years and it's wonderful to be able to collaborate on this exciting project together. Alberta's designs always embody femininity and elegance which are reflected in this fragrance."

The scent is being produced by Elizabeth Arden Inc., and the campaign was shot by photographers Mert and Marcus.

Amber Rose has signed to Ford Models. The on/off girlfriend of rapper Kanye West — who is rumoured to have split from Kanye after a five-month romance — reportedly inked a deal with the renowned New York agency earlier this week.

Rubbishing claims Amber and Kanye have ended their relationship, fashion journalist Derek Blasberg wrote on his Twitter page: "Weird item in the paper today. I was with Kanye last night — and his foxy bald girlfriend. Still together, celebrating her signing with Ford. (sic)"

Ford Models has represented a host of stars, including Rachel Hunter, Erin O'Connor and Chanel Iman.

Although it is unknown which campaigns Amber is being lined up for, she has already appeared in an advert for Kanye's Louis Vuitton range of sneakers.

Tom Ford says leaving Gucci felt like a "divorce". The fashion designer, who was creative director of the fashion house for 10 years, admits parting ways with the company in 2004 was devastating and felt like he had lost a lover.

He said: "You can imagine what it was like when I left. Even though I could see the writing on the wall a good two years before I went.

"I was suddenly negotiating my contract with people that I didn't know. I had nothing lined up. Literally nothing. You don't when you are working on 16 collections a year.

"It was like a divorce. I was bereft. But I have done a lot of work on myself and I am through it."

Jimmy Choo is to design a range for H+M. The luxury footwear company — which was regularly featured on hit US TV show 'Sex and the City' — has announced it will work with the Swedish high street chain on a line of shoes and bags.

Tamara Mellon, founder and president of Jimmy Choo, said: "We are privileged to be among the fashion greats who have been affiliated with H+M so far, and to be designing a collection appealing to fashion savvy, street smart women, and to be including some great pieces for men, too.

"Jimmy Choo will bring to H+M a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible and glamorous collection - the perfect party pieces to buy now and then wear out that night!"

Jimmy Choo will also design a range of clothing for men and women to complement the accessories.

Claire Danes is designing her wedding dress with Narciso Rodriguez. The 30-year-old actress — who is engaged to British actor Hugh Dancy — has revealed she is "collaborating" ideas with the award-winning designer to create the perfect bridal gown for the upcoming ceremony.

She said: "I'm so privileged. I'm collaborating a little bit, but I'm just trusting him implicitly. I'm offering my ideas, but they always pale in comparison.

"I get weepy, more emotional than I was expecting. It's intimate."

Meanwhile, Narciso — whose A-list clients include Salma Hayek, Sarah Jessica Parker and Rachel Weisz — says it has been easy to design the bespoke frock because Claire is so attractive.

He said: "She's an extraordinary woman inside and out... you can't hide it. I just try to make her look more beautiful, and it's not hard to make her look beautiful."

This will not be the first high-profile wedding gown the 48-year-old designer has created.

He is also responsible for designing the white column dress which Caroline Bessette Kennedy wore for her 1996 wedding to John F. Kennedy Jr.

Meanwhile, Nicky Hilton says being a fashion designer has helped give her a purpose in life.

The hotel heiress — who has two clothing lines, Chick and Nicky Hilton Beverly Hills — was determined to make a success of her career as she didn't want to be accused of cashing in on her famous surname.

She said: "I'm following my dreams and doing what I love as a designer. I did not want to be one of those kids with a famous last name that doesn't do anything. That is very unfulfilling to me and I'm very happy."

The 25-year-old blonde — younger sister of 'The Simple Life' star Paris — launched Nicky Hilton Beverly Hills in 2006 and while it is more upmarket than Chick, she didn't want it to be too expensive.

She said: "These are clothes my friends and I could wear. This ain't Prada.

"I don't want to be one of those celebrities that slaps their name on a label and collects royalty checks. Everything on that runway reflects me."
