Short hair is out! Kate Winslet says she hated having short hair. The 33-year-old actress sported a chin-length, textured bob at the New York premiere of her movie 'Hideous Kinky' in 1999, and insists she will never repeat the look.
Looking at a photo taken on the night, Kate said: "Bless my heart. Well, my boobs look good. Yeah, that was my short haircut I hated it. I would never do it again. You have to do short hair. It's like a nightmare. It's just not flattering to my face shape at all."
Kate who raises two children with husband Sam Mendes, daughter Mia, eight, and five-year-old son Joe is happier with the fresh-faced look she boasted at the New York premiere of 2008's 'The Reader', where she had flowing blonde locks and a deep tan.
Roberta Armani has praised Katie Holmes' "bold" fashion sense. The niece of Giorgio Armani who is the director of public relations for the famous Italian fashion house thinks more people should experiment with their clothes like the 30-year-old actress.
Roberta said: "Don't be scared to be bold. My friend Katie Holmes wore some amazing bright blue shoes with an orange Armani Prive dress last year to the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala in New York = she looked fantastic."
Roberta's role in the fashion house is to recommend pieces to celebrities, in the hope of them wearing Armani gowns and suits to special events.
As well as helping famous faces choose the perfect piece to complement their figure, she also gives tips on how to accessorise for an important night out.
She explained to Britain's Grazia magazine: "Don't make too many statements. A show-stopping gown doesn't need major hair. Likewise, keep jewellery to a minimum. My uncle lives by the mantra 'less is more'. Look in the mirror and ask yourself, 'Is everything I have on performing a function? Is it all really necessary?' If not, remove it.
"Don't rush getting ready, and keep a fragrance just for special occasions. I keep one aside for red-carpet moments. It adds to the drama and excitement of what is to come."
The news on the street is that Miley Cyrus is launching a cut-price clothing line.

Yes it's true, Linda Evangelista applies her make-up in 10 minutes. The Canadian supermodel who fronted last year's Prada Fall campaign and is the current face of L'Oreal Paris cosmetics has learnt so many beauty tricks during her 30-year career she only takes a few minutes to perfect her appearance.
She said: "I did my own make-up this morning and it takes 10 minutes, tops! My best trick is to do it in natural light. I keep all my make-up on a huge mirrored tray and I just take it to whatever window is looking good that day."
However, the 44-year-old beauty is so particular about how her lips look she often turns down the industry's biggest make-up artists to make them up herself.
She explained to Britain's Grazia magazine: "I can't live without lip liner it just makes my face and defines it like nothing else. My cheekbones are sucked in and everything just sharpens. I've been using it for years and I never let make-up artists do my lip liner on shoots, not even the big ones!
"I don't do lipstick. I think lip liner and a slick of gloss give a much more modern and plumping effect."
Justin Timberlake wants to take his clothing line global. The 'Sexy Back' singer who launched his William Rast denim label in October 2006 is so pleased with the success of his brand he wants to open stores in as many countries as possible.
A source told America's National Enquirer magazine: "It's doing so well that he's planning to open up boutiques around the world. It's worth tens of millions of dollars. He could sell it and retire."
The 28-year-old star recently topped GQ magazine's list of the 10 Most Stylish Men in America for his impact on fashion and his "knack for targeting trends".
Justin topped the list because of his willingness to take style risks with his use of hats, three-piece suits, skinny ties and facial hair.
Despite being voted the Most Stylish Man in America, Justin believes British supermodel Kate Moss is the ultimate fashion icon because she "could put a barrel on and it would be some sort of statement".

It is thought she agreed to appear in the shots as she is close friends with Burberry's creative director Christopher Bailey.
