Victoria Beckham "screamed" in delight when she saw new mom Beyoncé wearing one of form-fitting designs.
She told Extra TV: "I was very excited when I saw it online — I screamed and said, 'David, look'."
The mother-of-four said that seeing the Diva singer wearing her conservative yet surprisingly sexy design, which forms part of her 2012 spring collection, made her feel very proud.
"Beyoncé is absolutely beautiful and has the most phenomenal body. I'm a huge Beyoncé fan, so it was big for me."
Beyoncé, who recently gave birth to her first child, wore the design in a deep shade of blue with matching electric-blue nail polish – most probably in reference to her daughter’s name, Blue Ivy.
Actress Jessica Biel has also been spotted wearing the long-sleeved, knee-skimming design, but in a virginal white.
Victoria, who just like Beyoncé, has also recently had a baby and bounced back to her pre-pregnancy figure in record time, told Vogue how she created her fashion collection.
"I wanted clothes — whether a pair of jeans or an evening dress — that I would wear myself. That’s the final test. Would I wear it? If I would, I put it out there, and if I wouldn’t, I don’t.”
She explained the mechanics behind creating her famous "sucky-sucky" (signature pencil-skirted sheath with figure-hugging elasticity) dress.
"It gives [my customers] a little waist. It’s great on the boobs, it’s great on the bottom."
