Okapi, named after the elusive antelope otherwise known as the “African Unicorn” announced their Icons campaign celebrating the modern woman – the campaign is instantly identifiable with an artistic aesthetic that renders it timeless.
Entrepreneurial, intelligent, strong and pioneering are some of the character traits embodied by the women featured in the Okapi Icons campaign.
Ocean conservationist and free diver Hanli Prinsloo, Entrepreneur Veronica Chou and CEO & founder of Positive Luxury, Diana Verde Nieto (the company behind the Butterfly Mark, awarded to luxury lifestyle brands that take pride in their craftsmanship, service and design, whilst caring for their employees and suppliers) are amongst the profound women celebrated.
Okapi’s commitment to creating entirely traceable, sustainable and ethically sourced products has earned them recognition by Positive Luxury, through the award of The Butterfly Mark, a mark of trust awarded to luxury lifestyle brands.
The campaign shot in London and Cape Town is the brainchild of Okapi owner and designer, Hanneli Rupert.
Rupert came up with the Icons campaign as a way to celebrate existing Okapi clientele who happen to be creative, interesting and successful women who are icons in their field of expertise.
