Don’t miss out on one of Joburg’s calendar highlights, The Brightwater Commons’ eighth annual Oyster, Wine & Food Festival, which is happening on 2-3 June from 11am – 6pm. 

This annual event promises even more tongue-tickling delights this year with 40 000 freshly shucked oysters, 28 gourmet food exhibitors and wines from 32 estates on offer.

If you are a fan of bubbly then the Champagne Tent on the commons is a must, featuring three top Methodé Cap Classique estates.

All the featured wines, organic brandies and grappa will be on exhibit at the Promotions Court at Brightwater Commons. Visitors can go to one of three entrances and purchase a wine glass to taste wine at the wine circles. 

 Entrance is free but Oyster Bucks are bought at the cashiers as the currency of the day, R10 per medium oyster is the going rate.  Please visit the Brightwater Commons Facebook page for more information.
