Clover wins best cheese

After South Africa achieved excellent results in this year's Paralympics, an Olympic victory of a different kind was to come — all thanks to Clover's hard work and world-quality cheeses!
In what is referred to as the 'Olympics of Cheese', Clover sparkled as brightly as ever when they recently walked away with three gold medals and the title of Best South African Cheese with their Extra Mature Cheddar at this year's World Cheese Awards.
This year, the awards were held in Dublin. They hosted an incredible 2400 cheeses from every cheese-making nation in the world.
More than 90 experts from around the globe flew to Dublin to join 50 Irish judges to taste and judge the thousands of cheeses. The experts who judged the cheddar category all hail from England, the largest consumer of cheddar, and are extremely knowledgeable about this type of cheese.
The judges allocated the highest marks of all the South African cheeses to Clover's Extra Mature Cheddar. This achievement resulted in Clover winning the Agri Expo trophy for the best South African Cheese.
"These awards are testimony to the completeness of our product. It starts with what you put in — excellent quality milk — and ends with the preservation of the product until it reaches the consumer.
