UK's other royal wedding
She might only be 12th in line to the throne, but Zara Phillips is a feisty, opinionated royal, a shrewd businesswoman and a rather excited bride-to-be.
How does a girl outdo a wedding like William and Kate's? According to Zara, she doesn't. "My wedding will be nothing like Kate and William's. For a start, there won't be anywhere near as many people," she told The People.
The wedding will take place in Edinburgh and all costs will be covered by the families, with the reception being held at the Queen's official Scottish residence Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Zara was born in 1981 to Princess Anne and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips. At the request of the Princess, her children were not given royal titles. Though Zara is 12th in line to the throne, she is unlikely to receive any royal title as she is a grandchild of the monarch through a female line.

Sporting a scar after a car accident in which her Land Rover flipped while she was driving alone in Gloucestershire in 2000, Zara arrives for the Christmas morning church service at St Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas Day. After carrying out a breathalyser test, police announced that Zara had not been driving under the influence of alcohol. It was believed that wet conditions caused her to lose control of the vehicle. Peter and Autumn became embroiled in scandal after their wedding for selling their wedding photos to a magazine for 500 000 pounds, which Buckingham Palace called 'a serious error in judgment'. AFP
After a tumultuous relationship with fiancé and jockey Richard Johnson, which ended in 2003, Zara started dating England's current rugby captain Mike Tindall. Describing Mike's big bachelor's night, in which he racked up a hefty £12 000 drinks bill, Zara said: 'Mike's lovely but he's a rugby boy so I think it's to be expected. Boys will be boys.' AFP

Zara's rugger-bugger fiance is not exactly England's rose. According to the Daily Mail, Zara's mother, Princess Anne, suggested that Mike have his nose fixed before the wedding. The wedding photos should reveal whether he took his mother-in-law's advice... AFP

Zara and Mike leave the wedding reception for her cousin, Prince William, and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, at Buckingham Palace on April 29, 2011. In an interview with The People, Zara said her grandparents were very fond of Kate: 'They thought she was just right for William. My grandmother liked Kate as soon as they met. They both adore her.' Zara and Prince William leave the church at Sandringham after the Christmas Day service in 2009. Zara is said to be very close to both William and Harry to the point of being a little overprotective. Rumours suggest that she has decided not to invite Harry's on-again, off-again girlfriend Chelsy Davy to her wedding. AFP

In 2006, Zara won individual gold and team silver medals for her participation in the FEI World Equestrian Games in the same country. Soon afterwards the Olympic committee announced that she would be one of five riders to represent Britian during the Beijing Olympic Games 2008. Sadly, she was unable to attend as her horse Toytown suffered injuries. AFP
